About Us At Natural Endings whoever sees you initially will guide you through the days leading to the funeral and the funeral itself. We feel that it is important that you get this personal care and continuity. Also we believe in same sex care. So it will be Rosie that takes care physically of your late grandma, mum, wife/partner, daughter, or sister. We understand that lives are busy at this time and that there is lots to do. Therefore through appointment we can visit you at home, if you wish, to take arrangements and give you a no-commitment estimate. Alternatively you can visit us at our funeral home in South Manchester.Arnative,& Natural Endings Directors Rosie Grant BA(hons) Rosie Grant first became involved with funerals in 1995. Whilst nursing her terminally ill mum Zoë she began, at Zoës request, to look into options for her funeral. When the time came friends made the coffin, they had the funeral in a thatched barn and she was buried in a woodland burial ground with a hawthorn tree planted on her grave. We found that by having a very personal funeral in a venue where we could take our time was a very cathartic experience. It was a wonderful day, full of sadness but with great love and pride too. It helped us all immensely Rosie wanted to enable other families to have unique appropriate farewells for their loved ones. She trained to become an alternative funeral arranger and went on to work in London and Sheffield. In 2005 she set up Natural Endings with Ian Clarke and they are now pleased to be able to offer this service to bereaved families in the North West. Rosie gives talks and leads workshops in topics such as 'Green Funerals', 'Changing Funeral Customs', 'Ways To Improve Funerals' and 'Planning A Funeral'. She is a guest on Heather Stott's BBC Manchester radio show and often appears on Radio 5 Live.
Ian Clarke BA(hons) Ian Clarke graduated from the University of Ulster in 1992. After the death of his father-in-law in 1995 he realised the difference that a sensitive and helpful funeral director can make to a family at the time of bereavement. He has worked in the funeral industry as a funeral director and manager of a multi-site funeral service since 1996. In 2003 he established the independent Ian Clarke Funeral Services. Natural Endings has evolved as a sister company to Ian Clarke Funeral Services. He has been awarded locally for providing outstanding service. In September 2006 Ian was presented with the Scales Award by the National Association of Funeral Directors.
I help families to make informed choices. There are so many options that they may not be aware of and its often the little details that make a funeral really special.
